April 2015- Carrabassett River Early Spring Gold
The glow of sunset falls on the open water of the Carrabassett River in Western Maine in early April, turning its rippling water into a golden flow. The river course is defined by crusty snow, formed by repeated cycles of freezing and thawing spring weather conditions. The melting, snow-lined banks provide strong contrast to the open moving waterway.
