photographers of natural and built environments
In our photographs, we seek to distill content to it’s most simple and direct language, to separate it from features that complicate or minimize their graphic qualities and allow us to extract their true substance. Please explore the galleries below to see images from Maine, Idaho, our new home state, and other places.
Above: A full Hunter’s moon rises between the Grand and Middle Teton peaks, as seen from Teton Valley in Driggs, Idaho. This moon, rising in October skies, is so named because it is a particularly bright and long-lasting moon, giving hunters the opportunity to stalk their prey at night. Some aspen in the foreground have begun to turn yellow, and these trees set in front of the pink glow of the mountains create a striking array of color to the early evening landscape.
